internet marketing
Internet Marketing is a generic term used to describe techniques that leverage the Internet for driving traffic and customers to one's business. Internet Marketing includes buying advertisement on search engine keyword providers such as Google. It includes sending email to solicit customers - this can often include unwanted e-mail, known as SPAM, which has come under much government scrutiny and regulation. It can include paid inclusion in search results or links on existing web sites designed to drive traffic to one's website. Internet Marketing has been very successfully due to its low barriers of entry and the ability to provide customers with value while they are sitting at their desk anytime of the day.
